They were called to the apartment by [redacted] to remove her son, [redacted] from the apartment. [redacted] does not live in the apartment, and refused to leave. [redacted]s ex-boyfriend, [redacted] was also home at the time. After refusing to leave the apartment, PO Debellis and PO Deangelis attempted to physically remove him from the apartment, however he resisted their efforts to do so (Allegation A and B). PO Deangelis then pepper sprayed [redacted] (Allegation C), who proceeded to run to the rear bedroom of the apartment. [redacted] alleged that one of the officers, whom he was unable to see due to having his back turned, punched him in the left shoulder, the back, and the back of the head multiple times as he ran deeper into the apartment (Allegation D). PO Deangelis entered the room with his gun drawn and allegedly pointed it at [redacted] (Allegation E). During the course of the struggle PO Debellis allegedly struck [redacted] in the head with his nightstick, causing a laceration to the top of his head (Allegation F). [redacted] was subsequently apprehended and transported to [redacted] where he received six staples to close the head wound.
