While detained at the 110th Precinct, Officers Gonzalez and Herbert obtained a false confession from Plaintiff over the course of 8 hours. The only evidence against Plaintiff at trial was his false confession. Defendant Gonzalez has a track record of obtaining false confessions. As a result of Defendants misconduct, Plaintiff spent 28 years falsely incarcerated for a crime he did not commit.
