Plaintiffs were among the individuals initially seized and placed into handcuffs. The detainees were being placed into a police van when more items were thrown from the roof. Officers then unlawfully arrested two additional Plaintiffs. When Plaintiff LaKeath Berrian asked the officers to explain their actions he was tacked, assaulted, and arrested. Plaintiff Jodeci Gaddy was also grabbed and thrown to the ground. Plaintiffs Alshante Baker and Donell Williams were sprayed with pepper spray for no legitimate reason. Plaintiff Jahleel Brown was punched in the face by a police officer while sitting handcuffed in a police car.
