Defendant NYPD Captain Bekim Kalicovic and unidentified John DOE NYPD defendant officers tackled plaintiff to the ground, ripped off his facemasks, and applied excessively tight handcuffs to plaintiff after forcing his hands behind his back. Plaintiff was made to sit on the sidewalk for an hour before being placed in an overheated van.\n\nUpon release, Plaintiff was given a desk appearance ticket by defendant NYPD officer Sean Kwalwasser charging him with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree. Defendant Kwalwasser falsely alleged in a complaint that defendant Kalicovic saw plaintiff refuse an order to disperse and pushed police officers.
