Immediately thereafter, Defendant Police Officers, unlawfully detained plaintiff at the corner of West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, in public view, while being forced to wear handcuffs, for at least an hour. Plaintiff was transported to the Midtown South Precinct where she was incarcerated and detained in a holding cell, until the following day, September 9, 2022. On the morning of September 9, 2022, Plaintiff was transferred via an NYPD van to Central Booking in Manhattan where she was incarcerated and detained. While Plaintiff was in custody, defendants P.O Jon E. Felz, Sal Tramontana, and John and Jane Doe prepared and filed false paperwork with the DA. As a result, the plaintiff spent approximately 24 hours in the defendant’s custody. They falsely informed the DA's office they had observed Plaintiff commit criminal impersonation, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. After 24 hours in custody, Plaintiff was released.
