At the protest, Police Officer John Doe 1 and 2 hit Plaintiff multiple times and knocked over several others with batons. While Plaintiff tried to help up a fallen protestor, Officer John Doe 2 ran towards Plaintiff and swung a baton down on their outstretched arm, then next over their left shoulder, resulting in a fractured elbow.\nOn July 28th 2020, Plaintiff was at an Occupy City Hall encampment. Police officers arrived on bikes and forced the dispersion of protestors into Madison Square Park. Protestors were told to get on the sidewalk and Plaintiff complied. NYPD Deputy Inspector Elias J. Nikkas pushed Plaintiff into the street and ordered another unknown officer to arrest Plaintiff. The plaintiff was then arrested.\nOn July 30th, Plaintiff was walking through Foley Square and was stopped by Inspector Elias J. Nikkas. He asked Plaintiff \"how was the beach\", a reference to an Instagram post on Plaintiff's account. Nikkas' remark reminded Plaintiff of NYPD surveillance.\nOn August 11, 2020, Plaintiff was in Washington Square Park when officer Captain O’Hare approached and said, \"time to go Nicky\", and walked on.\nOn September 29, 2020, Plaintiff was protesting outside Governor Andrew Cuomo's office at 633 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10017.  Police Officer John Doe 3 asked protestors to leave at 11:00pm. He put Plaintiff in a headlock with his baton and dragged her to the ground. Four other officers including Police Officer John Doe 4,5,6, jumped onto Plaintiff and held her down as Police Officer John Doe  3 choked her.  Police Officers John Doe 4 and John Doe 5 put their knees into Plaintiffs back and leg to hold her down for several minutes. They arrested and detained Plaintiff for over 24 hours.\nOn October 5, 2020, Plaintiff was attending a protest at Seaport. Plaintiff was on the sidewalk when Lieutenant Michele Irizarry dragged Plaintiff off the sidewalk by the hair, then arrested Plaintiff. Earlier the same officer had asked, \"Hi Nicolle, having a good night?\" and upon questioning followed with, \"Everyone knows your fucking name.\" \nOn October 17, 2020, Plaintiff attended a protest at Washington Square Park. Police Officer Captain Julio Delgado was smoking a cigar. Plaintiff asked why the officer was smoking a cigar against code, and he ordered another officer to arrest Plaintiff. several officers rather harassed and threatened Plaintiff until she left the protest.\nOn October 26, 2020, Plaintiff was protesting in Time Square when Officers John Doe 8, 9, 10, and 11 pulled Plaintiff to the ground and forced her to her knees. Police officer Yu Kian and Police Officer John Doe 8 dragged Plaintiff and arrested her. In transport the officers referred to her Instagram videos of protests and at the precinct desk, they referred to her again by name.\nOn November 17, Plaintiff was attending a protest in Brooklyn Borough Hall when Police Officer Edward Casaceli approached and referred to her by name. He said, \"Every knows your fucking name; your picture is on all of our desks.\" \nOn December 11, 2020, Plaintiff was attending a protest near the UN building and helping a friend who was injured. Police Officers John Doe 12 and 13 ran and tackled Plaintiff to the ground, zip tied and arrested her. The NYPD then released Plaintiff's full name and address to the New York Post, including false claims that Plaintiff interfered with emergency responders following a car plowing through the crowd. Plaintiff Miller was in the passenger seat of a car, and when POs Brian Ramirez and Justin Vasquez yelled at the Plaintiffs for not social distancing, SH got into the driver's seat. PO Ramirez demanded to see SH's DL, which was provided. PO Vasquez demanded to see Miller's ID; Miller refused since he was not doing anything. Miller began recording the interaction with his cell, and PO Vasquez slapped it out of his hand and began hitting Miller. SH then began recording, and the officers threw him to the ground and PO Ramirez began striking him with a bit stick. Sgts Darren Caranella, and Troy Peacock and POs Sean Slowski, and Christopher Read pinned SH to the ground, kneeing and striking him as they placed handcuffs on him. Plaintiff Boyce began recording the assaults, and POs Ramirez, Vasquez began beating him. POs Charles Ji, Michael John, Stephen Rice, Sgt Troy Peacock, and Lts Alexander Bobo and Michael Parscale joined in the assault as they arrived. PO Stephen Rice tased Boyce for several seconds before handcuffing him. Boyce, SH, and Miller were taken to the 073 Precinct, where they were taunted by PO Vasquez and Ramirez. Ramirez chocked Miller in the precinct. SH and Miller were released at 3pm and Boyce was released shortly after 5pm on April 6 without having been charged nor seeing a judge. \nOn April 8, 2020, Plaintiff Denzel Bobb was driving his vehicle, looking for parking SH was in the passenger seat, and Shaquweice Mills was in the rear seat. As Bobb was about to park, plainclothes Sgt Samuel Hui and Steven Franzel with officers Keith Stark, Richard Catapano and Vincent D'Andraia arrived in unmarked cars. They alleged that the car had a broken tailight. As Bobb attempted to retrieve the vehicle registration he was asked for by Sgt Hui, he was pulled out of the vehicle and Hui, Stark, and Franzel began beating him. SH and Mills were taken out of the vehicle by Franzel and Catapano and forced to sit on the ground with their handcuffs throughout the assault. Hui pointed his taser at them. Plaintiff Lavon Bartholomew witnessed the assault began recording. PO Stark told him to turn off the light on his camera, Bartholomew complied. Stark and D'Andraia approached Bartholomew again, slapped his phone out of his hand, whereupon they began beating him along with PO Richard Catapano. Upon handcuffing him too tightly, Catapano smashed his head on the sidewalk.
