The apartment and those inside, including Plaintiff were searched. The search did not reveal any illicit substance, contraband, or evidence of a crime. Nevertheless, Plaintiff was arrested, handcuffed, and transported to the 81st Precinct. Plaintiff was processed and detained in a holding cell. On July 6th, Plaintiff was transported to King's County Central Booking and detained in another cell. PO Kelley, PO Colombini, PO Julien and SGT Powers then instigated the commencement of the criminal prosecution of Plaintiff. At arraignment the bail was set but Plaintiff was unable to post bail. He was therefore transported to Riker's Island until July 12th, 2014.
