He feared for his life and called 911 before exiting the car. Police Officer Warren Lau grabbed, searched, and tightly handcuffed Plaintiff before many onlookers. A Seargant told Plaintiff that his 911 call meant NYPD would arrest him. When EMS arrived, Plaintiff stated that he wished to be put in an ambulance, so PO Lau removed him from the police vehicle and put him in an ambulance. He visited the hospital emergency department, then NYPD drove him to the precinct. At the precinct, officer Lau and another officer refused to tell him why he was being arrested. Officer Lau forcefully removed his turban and officers told him he would be held indefinitely at Central Booking until he consented to be fingerprinted. Plaintiff's eyes were scanned against his protest, after which he has felt like something was in his eyes. The police officers had no warrant for the arrest.
