Defendants maliciously prosecuted Plaintiff to retaliate against Plaintiff's friend for filing a civil rights lawsuit against Defendants. Plaintiff was transported to the 81st Precinct where he was searched, fingerprinted and photographed. Plaintiff was then taken to Kings County Central Booking where Plaintiff was detained for many hours. Based on the false information that Defendants gave to the District Attorney's office, the defendants initiated a prosecution against Plaintiff on July 25, 2014, giving the King's County District Attorney's Office a false narrative about why they stopped, searched and arrested the Plaintiff. Plaintiff was held for 24 hours in police custody and and was arraigned in Kings County Criminal Court on July 25, 2014 and falsely charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. Plaintiff was forced to appear in Court on approximately 20 occasions, but then all charges against Plaintiff were terminated in his favor and dismissed on May 10, 2016.
