Plaintiff refused to leave his own property and Defendant officers demanded Plaintiff provide ID. Plaintiff questioned why he had to produce his ID and he was grabbed and slammed to the ground by Officers and handcuffed excessively tight. Plaintiff was searched and found nothing. Members of the community came and questioned the Officers actions, which led to Officers making the onlookers and Plaintiff. Plaintiff was dragged into a police vehicle. \n\nDue to the Defendant Officers actions, Plaintiff was caused pain and injuries including fear of imminent harm. He did not consent to the seizure or force. Plaintiff was taken to the 67th Prescient where he was falsely charged with resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana, and disorderly conduct. On August 15, 2013, the false charges were dismissed.
