Mr. Vujinovic was at his place of employment, DUMBO Moving Company, where he held the position of manager, when 3 individuals from a different moving company came. The 3 individuals began arguing with employees of Mr. Vujinovic’s company – Mr. Vujinovic attempted to mediate, but was punched in the face. Mr. Vujinovic called 911 two times requesting assistance – 1 of the 3 individuals ran away, but 2 remained on the scene when the police arrived. Mr. Vujinovic met the officers and explained the situation to them – he was visibly bleeding at the time. 1 of the 2 remaining individuals claimed to the officers that Mr. Vujinovic had assaulted him. The officers were aware that there were video cameras which captured the events – however, no one had access to them at this point in time. Mr. Vujinovic was handcuffed and imprisoned – he was transferred to the 88th Precinct and imprisoned there. An hour after imprisonment, an employee of DUMBO Moving Company came to the precinct with a portion of surveillance video which vindicated Mr. Vujinovic. Despite this, the officers continued his arrest and made no effort to further investigate the false allegations made against Mr. Vujinovic. Mr. Vujinovic was held for 9 hours before he was released with a desk appearance ticket that directed him to appear in Kings County Criminal Court on December 11, 2019, to face charges of assault.\n\nAfter the arrest, Mr. Vujinovic, through an attorney, spoke to Detective Hunt to file a complaint report against the individual who punched him. Detective Hunt conducted a proper investigation into the events and reviewed the surveillance footage of the entire incident – this was eventually provided to the Kings County District Attorney’s Office who subsequently declined to prosecute Mr. Vujinovic.","documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23690704-2022_vujinovic_22cv00646","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/62655410/vujinovic-v-city-of-new-york/"}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2023-06-05","case_no":"2022-27564","penalty":"Instructions","recommendation":"Charges and Specifications","allegations":[{"desc":"Utilized excessive force."}]}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21020436-arcos-365e26b49bdb5492ac28cca0d876a3876f784a91","type":"brady-giglio"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21057293-arcos-960170","type":"brady-giglio"}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/47EX-bradley-arcos.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"36353","other":"25217","total":"170081"},"email":"bradley.arcos@nypd.org","id":"47EX","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/47EX"}
