Then, Plaintiff was pulled over by an NYPD vehicle, and Defendant Officers Shameka Vanderpool, Dennis Vickey, Larry Jimenez, and John or Jane Does 1-10 approached Plaintiff's vehicle from both driver and passenger sides. Defendant officers, including Vanderpool, Vickery and Jimenez, proceeded to illegally search the entire vehicle and, not finding anything, still placed Plaintiff in tight handcuffs and falsely arrested him for driving while intoxicated. After transporting Plaintiff to the 42nd precinct, Defendants Vanderpool, Vickery, and Jimenez brought Plaintiff to a bathroom for a strip search and cavity inspection. Defendants Vanderpool, Vickery, and Jimenez then provided false information to the Bronx DA to initiate a criminal prosecution against Plaintiff for DWI. After arraignment, Plaintiff was released on August 3, 2016 at 11:00 PM.
