Defendant officers approached Plaintiff wielding their handguns aimed at Plaintiff’s face. Defendant officers demanded Plaintiff exit the vehicle and stand to the right of it with their guns still aimed at him. Officers stopped, seized and searched, and illegally detained Plaintiff while also conducting an illegal search of the vehicle. Defendant officers indicated that they found contraband in Plaintiff’s girlfriend’s vehicle.\n\nOfficers then falsely accused Plaintiff of a criminal offense and illegally seized him by aggressively grabbing him and unlawfully searching his person and belongings. No contraband was recovered. Defendant officers then violently contorted Plaintiff’s arms and wrists behind his back and applied excessively tightened handcuffs, causing significant pain and discomfort. Plaintiff was transported to the precinct where he was fingerprinted, photographed, searched or strip-searched, questioned as to his pedigree, illegally interrogated without presence of counsel and being Mirandized, and illegally detained in a dank and dirty cell before being transported to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained due to Defendants. Thereafter, Plaintiff was transported to central book until his release from custody on or about October 24, 2020. The criminal prosecution initiated by Defendant officers was terminated in Plaintiff’s favor when all charges were dismissed on or about April 27, 2021, likely due to a lack of probable cause to believe Plaintiff committed any criminal offense.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=KSOQzxXTfn6R5bct5xLqcg==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Nalisa, Sinvula vs City of Ny, et al.","start_date":"2023-10-04","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"","docket":"23CV06021","court":"U.S. District Court - Eastern District NY","documents":[{"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.501585/gov.uscourts.nyed.501585.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/67682510/nalisa-v-city-of-new-york/"}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2023-02-26","case_no":"2022-25751","recommendation":"Command Discipline - B","allegations":[{"desc":"Wrongful entry of a premises."}]}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/22086409-seh_965980","type":"employment-history"}],"payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"26759","other":"25963","total":"161233"},"id":"4RH3","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/4RH3"}
