Plaintiff was told by defendant Newman not to inform two paramedics who arrived to treat him that he had been assaulted by defendant Newman, and plaintiff was then transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.\n\nPlaintiff was treated at the hospital for 12 hours, then taken back to the precinct, fingerprinted by defendant Newman, and then taken to Bronx Central Booking. Defendant Newman and other unidentified NYPD officers allegedly prepared false police reports, including a complaint charging plaintiff with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.
