The search uncovered no contraband. The plaintiff was then handcuffed and arrested him. When asked the reason for his arrest, the defendants did not respond. The plaintiff pleaded with the officers to notify the school that he would be unable to pickup his stepson, but was ignored. The plaintiff was transported to the precinct. The defendant officers then generated a false police report detailing observations of a marijuana sale. When the plaintiff again asked the reason for his arrest, he was struck in the face by a defendant officer and threatened with a felony charge  if he did not \"shut up\". At arraignment, the criminal charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
