Defendants took the plaintiff into custody and placed her under arresting alleging untruthfully that Plaintiff has committed an assault. Defendants knew or should have known Plaintiff could not have perpetrated any assault because the initial police report and Body Worn Camera footage in Defendants’ possession from the night before confirmed that the assault was perpetrated by male subjects. Plaintiff was brought to the precinct where Defendants fingerprinted, photographed, searched and confined Plaintiff to a cell. While Plaintiff was in a holding cell, Defendants told Plaintiff that the complaining victims had told them the night prior that the perpetrator of the aforesaid assault was more than one male subject, and that Plaintiff was released from the Precinct to return to Court. Plaintiff’s charges were dismissed and sealed by the court.
