Plaintiff was transported by the defendants to the 83rd precinct, where he was photographed, searched, fingerprinted, and then placed in a holding cell by the defendants. Thereafter, the defendant police officers conducted an invasive and unlawful strip search of plaintiff without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Specifically, plaintiff was forced to take off all of his clothes and shake each piece of clothing out. Plaintiff was then ordered to turn around, and with his back facing the defendant police officers, plaintiff was forced to bend over and spread his buttocks and lift his genitals. After several hours in unlawful custody, plaintiff was transported from the 83rd Precinct to Brooklyn Central Booking. \n\nThe defendant police officers provided the DA with false information about the facts that allegedly led them to believe that plaintiff committed a crime. Based upon the false information provided to the DA, a prosecution was initiated against plaintiff. Specifically, the defendant police officers falsely stated to the DA that plaintiff was in possession of a controlled substance,  On May 19, 2018, at approximately 6:00 pm, after being unlawfully detained for approximately 24 hours, plaintiff was arraigned. Plaintiff was released on his own recognizance. Plaintiff was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, amongst other charges.
