The officers at no time had a justifiable cause or a warrant to arrest Asamani, but the officers proceeded to intentionally detain Asamani. At no time did Asamani consent to such an excessive mistreatment and at no time did Asamani physically resist the arrest. Furthermore, the officers arrested Asamani through racial profiling in order to satisfy New York's arrest quota.  The officers wrongfully touched, grabbed, handcuffed, and seized Asamani in an excessive manner that eventually required Asamani to seek medical attention as a consequence. As a consequence, not only did Asamani suffer physical pain and injury, he also suffered from permanent psychological injuries through having to endure pain and suffering through the false arrest.
