At the time of the incident, plaintiff's left leg was in a brace and was required to use crutches to walk. Plaintiff complied with officers' requests for identification. Plaintiff was forced to lie down in the back of an NYPD vehicle, wherein he was transported to a local precinct. Immediately after processing, plaintiff was brought into a separate NYPD vehicle. Plaintiff was forced to place his left leg over another inmate and out of the window. This caused plaintiff's leg to bend and snap, causing immediate pain. Defendant-officers ignored plaintiff's requests for medical treatment. Once at Central Booking, Plaintiff was transported to Montefiore Hospital where he was examined and treated for a torn ligament.\n\nPlaintiff was held in custody for over 24 hours.
