Numerous students on the bus, including Elijah were yelling that Laronne didn't do anything. One officer, pulled out a taser, activated it, pointed it and threatened to use it. Laronne was forcibly removed from the bus, placed in handcuffs and arrested. Elijah was forcefully grabbed, pulled and removed from the bus. Elijah was thrown against a wall and placed in handcuffs and arrested. Elijah complained the handcuffs were too tight. Laronne and Elijah were both searched and transported to the 81st Precinct in handcuffs. Elijah was placed in a holding cell inside the 81st Precinct for about an hour. Laronne was handcuffed to a bench inside the 81st precinct for approximately one hour. Both Laronne and Elijah were issued summonses by \"Bellevue\" for disorderly conduct. Plaintiffs were compelled to return to court to answer to the false charges. On April 22, 2019, all criminal charges were dismissed against Laronne.
