A few hours later, the POs returned to Plaintiff's residence with the daughter and two unknown women who had located her. \n\nThe POs, including Officer David, then informed Plaintiff that she was under arrest for allegedly assaulting and endangering the welfare of her daughter, despite offering no explanation or supporting evidence. When Plaintiff denied these charges, the POs pushed their way into Plaintiff's home and, over Plaintiff's objections, conducted a search without warrant or permission: They went into her bedroom and her closet, opening dressers and bags, and throwing Plaintiff's clothes on the floor. PO David arrested Plaintiff and took her to the precinct and then central booking, where she was held for over 24 hours without probable cause. Plaintiff's children remained home with the POs until her mother arrived to take care of them.
