Defendants coerced the victim to identify Plaintiff Mr. Shaw as the perpetrator and brought Plaintiff to the police station. Defendants did not conduct any investigation such as viewing surveillance tapes, talking to witness, or surveying other patrons for a red scarf. Plaintiff was charged on January 28, 2018. Despite allegations from the victim that he \"felt something touch his butt\" without specifying it was a hand, the DA allowed to prosecution to continue. After numerous trial dates where the state was not ready to appear, a non-jury trial was held and the victim nor his parents were not able to identify Plaintiff. The judge found Plaintiff not guilty. Plaintiff Mr. Shaw has suffered false arrest and severe emotional and psychological harm as well as loss of work, financial damages, and damages to his personal and professional reputations, as well as loss of relationship with his family while Ms. Shaw has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm and lack of consortium.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.449839/gov.uscourts.nyed.449839.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}]}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2022-07-23","case_no":"2022-26170","recommendation":"Command Discipline - A","allegations":[{"desc":"Wrongful entry of a premises."},{"desc":"Wrongfully discourteous to an individual known to the Department."}]}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21017955-daf-vecchio961411","type":"brady-giglio"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/22086100-seh_961411","type":"employment-history"}],"id":"5HHT","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/5HHT"}
