Plaintiff 1 was video-recording the event when officers suddenly punched him. The officers continued to punch Plaintiff 1 as they reached for his phone. Plaintiff 2 saw Plaintiff 1 on the ground and ran towards him. An officer pushed Plaintiff 2, knocking her to the ground, kicked her on her side several times and kneed her in her back. Meanwhile, Plaintiff 1 was grabbed, thrown on the hood of a car, choked, and struck with a taser in his back. Officers tased Plaintiff 1 multiple times and punched him in the back of his head. Both Plaintiffs were arrested and transported to the precinct. All charges against Plaintiff 2 were subsequently dismissed.
