Defendants entered Plaintiff's hotel room, and had their guns drawn when they interacted with Plaintiff. Defendants, including Defendant NYPD officer Mohamed Awad grabbed Plaintiff's arms aggressively, threw him against the wall and handcuffed him. Defendants searched Plaintiff's person and his hotel room without permission, but did not find any contrabad in the room or on Plaintiff's person. Defendants handcuffed Plaintiff tightly and arrested Plaintiff without a warrant . Plaintiff was brought to the 75th precinct and Defendants did not give Plaintiff medical attention or loosen his handcuffs. Plaintiff was released from custody on June 14, 2023.
