Plaintiff requested police assistance, and defendants Kendhin Furuta and John Does 1-10, New York City Police Department officers of the 48th Precinct, arrived. Instead of assisting plaintiff, defendants arrested the plaintiff violently and with excessive force and without any probable cause. Defendants did not provide any medical treatment or call emergency medical services despite plaintiff's visible injuries even after plaintiff's repeated requests. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where the Captain and Sergeant on Detail made fun of plaintiff's black eye, and only later, after plaintiff's injury had been ridiculed did EMS finally arrive to provide treatment. Even though plaintiff requested to be taken to the hospital and was eventually taken to North Central Bronx hospital, officers attempted to dissuade the plaintiff stating it would delay and holdup her arrest process and advising that it would be better to not go to the hospital despite the injuries. \n\nPlaintiff return to the precinct after the hospital, and was kept in a cell for 15 hours overnight. Plaintiff arrived home on April 25th, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. Plaintiff had left her keys inside, and the super changed the locks for plaintiff. When plaintiff entered, plaintiff found her apartments ransacked with drawers opened, money issuing, identification and social security cards missing, and that her television was\nsmashed in. It appeared the arresting officers searched the premises and damaged her apartment during or after the arrest. That same evening, police officers from the 48th precinct arrived at plaintiff's residence with Tyler Watson and her boyfriend, they banged on plaintiff's door demanding access and pointed flashlights into the bedroom between 12:30am and 3:00am. Plaintiff did not open the door because a protective order had been issued and plaintiff thought opening the door would be in violation of that order.\n\nLater that morning at around 9:30am, officers of the 48th precinct arrived after the super called the police after observing that Tyler Watson and her boyfriend tried to access the apartment through the back window. The officers intimidated the super into changing the locks to allow Tyler Watson to access plaintiff's apartment, even though no judicial order was provided or shown by the officers.
