The Plaintiff and the others were not engaged in criminal activity. Plaintiff told the Officers that he was at the location to see his friend. The Defendants asked to see everyone's ID and Plaintiff did not have it, and Plaintiff was searched, handcuffed and falsely arrested without any reasonable grounds. The Officers refused to go to the friend's apartment to verify the Plaintiff's presence and purpose at the location. The plaintiff was transported in handcuffs to PSA 6, where he was strip searched and put in a cell. Defendants filled out false police reports and issued a Desk Appearance Ticket to the Plaintiff, and Defendants took action with the intent to arrest and prosecute the Plaintiff for a crime he did not commit. In the precinct, the plaintiff was removed from the holding cell and asked about his knowledge about crimes in the area but the Plaintiff had no information to provide the officer with and was returned back. Plaintiff was held in the Precinct until 6:30 pm when he was released with a Desk Appearance Ticket. Plaintiff was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty. On May 9, 2018, the charges against plaintiff was dropped.
