The NYPD records of the incident are incomplete and offer conflicting information as to the officers' identities, but Plaintiff believed the four officers were the following (or possibly some of these officers plus other unknown John Doe officers): (1) Police Officer or Sergeant \"FNU\" [First Name Unknown] Smith, (2) Police Officer Edward Ehrenkranz (listed as Plaintiff's arresting officer on the NYPD's voided arrest report), (3) Police Officer Carlos Zapata (listed as Plaintiff's arresting officer on the NYPD 44th Precinct's command log), and (4) Police Lieutenant Paul Prendergast (listed as the \"Supervisor Approving\" on the NYPD's voided arrest report).  Plaintiff was sitting in the car to check out his acquaintance's new car; the car was pulled over, the engine was off, the keys were not in the ignition, and the acquaintance was in the passenger seat.  Upon the officers' request, Plaintiff showed his valid learner's permit and Plaintiff's acquaintance showed the car's registration.  The officers removed Plaintiff and his acquaintance from the car, handcuffed Plaintiff painfully tight, and, without consent, searched the car and Plaintiff's pocket.  Plaintiff had no contraband, and there was no contraband in the car.  Plaintiff's step-mother came out and asked why Plaintiff had been arrested, and the officers did not answer.  After being held handcuffed for 5-10 minutes, Plaintiff was taken to the NYPD 44th Precinct by Officer Smith and one or two of the other officers.  Plaintiff complained that the handcuffs were too tight, but the officers did not loosen them.  At the precinct, Plaintiff was strip-searched by Officer Smith and one or two of the other officers, including spreading his buttocks and lifting his testicles, even though he had requested not to be strip-searched because he was suffering from scabies.  Plaintiff was released after approximately an hour without any charges or paperwork, and without any explanation why he had been arrested and strip-searched.  The voided arrest report states that the arrest charge was Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. After falsely accusing Plaintiff of holding drugs, Officer Oviedo fractured Plaintiff's left wrist without provocation and tightly handcuffed Plaintiff. The paint caused Plaintiff to fall to the ground where NYPD Officers Oviedo, Faello, Taylor, Ehrenkrantz, and Perez began kicking and punching Plaintiff. Plaintiff was dragged across the ground to a police van. Officer Faello approved of the officers' actions despite there being no probable cause for the arrest. Plaintiff was searched and no contraband was found. Plaintiff asked the officers to request medical attention for his injuries and to loosen his handcuffs but was denied. At the precinct, Plaintiff was thrown against the wall before being placed in a cell. Plaintiff asked the officers to loosen his handcuffs but the officers instead tightened the handcuffs. Plaintiff begged for a doctor but was not provided medical attention for another 2-3 hours. \n\nOfficer Oviedo reviewed and signed a criminal court complaint containing allegations he knew to be false.
