A malicious prosecution was commenced against Plaintiff in support of which PO Katehis and Undercover Officer (UC) 351 made false statements. In particular, UC 351 falsely said he engaged in illegal drug transactions with Plaintiff. As a result Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately one month and was wrongfully prosecuted for eighteen months. All charges were dismissed or terminated on or about October 26, 2023.
