Marie Armand was the owner and user of the second vehicle. Following this collision, which was caused by the negligence and recklessness of the defendants, one of the vehicles came into violent contact with Plaintiff Charlotte Nurse, mother of infant plaintiff Michael Nurse, who was a pedestrian bystander.  Nurse was seriously injured during this crash. Defendant police officers did not have a warrant. \n Defendant police officer Mackey unreasonably deployed pepper spray, causing plaintiffs substantial injury.  Defendant Matteo dragged plaintiff Denise Stewart out of the apartment, causing her towel to fall off exposing her upper body.  In the hallway outside the apartment, defendant Matteo threw plaintiff Denise Stewart face-first against a wall and handcuffed her behind her back, causing substantial pain and injury.  An onlooker video-recorded the interaction between defendant Matteo and plaintiff Denise Stewart, in which plaintiff Denise Stewart was naked; this video was disseminated broadly on the Internet, causing the plaintiffs extreme embarrassment and emotional distress.  Defendant police officer Tirado threw Unique Stewart face-first against a wall and handcuffed her behind her back, causing her substantial pain and injury.  Defendant police officer Mackey arrested plaintiffs Diamond and Kirkland Stewart.  Outside the apartment building, defendant police officer Tirado struck plaintiff Unique Stewart on the side of her body, causing her substantial pain and injury.  Defendant police officer Tirado called plaintiff Unique Stewart a \"black piece of shit\" and a \"nigger.\"  At the 67th Precinct, defendant police officer Mackey shackled plaintiff Unique Stewart's feet to a railing, causing her substantial injury and pain.  Defendant police officer Mackey falsely told plaintiff Unique Stewart that if she wanted to see her mother, plaintiff Denise Stewart, she had to write a statement accusing family members of hitting her with a belt.  Due to this coercion by defendant P.O. Mackey, plaintiff Unique Stewart wrote false statement that plaintiff Diamond Stewart had beat her with a belt.  Defendant P.O. Mackey and Matteo made false statements against plaintiffs in support of false charges against them.  On September 23, 2014, all charges against plaintiff Unique Stewart were dismissed.  At trial in December, a jury acquitted plaintiff Denise Stewart of all counts.
