Without probable cause or an arrest warrant, the NYPD officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained the plaintiff on the basis of his age or race.  Once the plaintiff was in the NYPD's custody, he was subjected to finger printing, photographs, and a strip search.  He was thereafter arraigned and falsely prosecuted for allegedly committing a crime.  The plaintiff remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and made several court appearances, which culminated in the charges against the plaintiff being terminated.\n\nIn the course of the arrest, the plaintiff suffered physical and emotional pain.  He now has permanent injuries to his head, neck, back, body, and limbs.
