One son facetimed Mr. Barreto's wife and she heard a physical struggle between the officers and her sons. Mr. Barreto and his wife arrived at the scene and saw six officers punching their son. Mr. Barreto asked what was happening and several officers approached. One officer punched Mr. Barreto twice in the throat, later took his badge from under his shirt and said \"if you want to fight me we can go around the corner.\" Mr. Barreto went to the 88th precinct to make a complaint about the use of force but the officer at the desk refused to assist.
