Bail was set on Plaintiff but Plaintiff was unable to make bail and was transferred to Riker’s Island. On September 15, 2020, Plaintiff posted bail. Defendants violently contorted the Plaintiff's arms behind his back and affixed metal handcuffs in an excessively tight manner, ignoring Plaintiff's pleas to loosen them. NYPD officers proceeded to search him and then violently shove him into a police vehicle and transport him to the 67th precinct, where he was illegally questioned. Later, he was moved to Central Booking. Overall, plaintiff was detained for approximately 10 hours and maliciously prosecuted until all criminal charges against him were dismissed and sealed. \n\nDefendants engaged in fraud, the suppression of evidence, perjury, gross deviation from acceptable police conduct, and other conduct undertaken in bad faith, including the withholding of other video surveillance recordings and witness statements or accounts, which all directly contradict the false allegations.
