Despite Plaintiff's pleas for information, none of the officers told him he was being arrested, what he was being arrested for, or where he was being taken. Plaintiff repeatedly told officers his handcuffs were overtight and his wrists were bleeding, but the officers ignored his request for medical attention. The cuffs caused lacerations and contusions, and scarred after healing. While in custody, the officers provided the DA with false and misleading information that Plaintiff was in possession of marijuana, though this was never the case. Plaintiff was released with a summons two hours after his initial interactions with the police.
