Plaintiffs were thereafter booked at the precinct, where defendant officers denied the plaintiffs access to medication, food and drink, as well as contact and visitation by friends and family. While plaintiffs were awaiting arraignment, defendant officers met with prosecutors and falsely stated to the prosecutors, among other things, that plaintiffs were in possession of drug paraphernalia and/or sold drug paraphernalia. Prosecutors declined to prosecute Shamarlon.
