A defendant supervisor was present at the scene but failed to stop the unlawful arrest. \n\nAt the 90th Precinct, Plaintiff was subjected to search of the intimate parts of her body and was held there for several hours before being released without any criminal charges. She was pressed against a metal bar and handcuffed to a fixed object. The officers kicked and banged on Plaintiffs' door, and threatened to break down the door. A Plaintiff opened the door to see what the officers wanted, and was pointed by a gun, grabbed, and handcuffed. The officers entered the apartment without a search warrant. During the intrusion, the officers pointed guns at multiple plaintiffs who were frightened, often accompanied by children, and often only partially dressed as they were asleep. The officers also called some plaintiffs using racial slurs and used excessive force in arresting them.
