The officers at the precinct falsely stated in the arrest paperwork that the plaintiffs engaged in various unlawful behaviors. All charges against the plaintiffs were ultimately dismissed or adjourned in contemplation of dismissal. The complaint alleges that the City of New York should have been on notice about the particular officers involved in this incident. Fearing false arrest, the plaintiff ran but was apprehended, forcefully brought to the ground, punching the plaintiff twice in his face, pushing a knee into the plaintiff's back, twisting the plaintiff's arms, and handcuffing the plaintiff excessively tight. The plaintiff suffered severe injuries. The plaintiff was brought to the 67th precinct. His rights were not read, he was not provided with food or water, and he was not allowed to make a telephone call. 24 hours later, after arrangement and release from the night court, the plaintiff received medical treatment at Kings Court Hospital.
