Plaintiff's husband was in the passenger seat of the car and was forcibly taken from the vehicle and taken to the police station and interrogated while handcuffed for seven hours. He was dismissed without charges. He had been cooperative and posed no risk. He was seen by officers attempting to calm his wife and help locate her when she was fleeing. \n\nThe officers named in the complaint are Lt. Matthew Harrison, Ofc. Wight, Ofc. Richard Velez, Ofc. The complaint alleges that the cell where the attack took place was located in a second floor holding area of the 120th Precinct where Plaintiff had been taken for questioning and that during Plaintiff's questioning, Suarez appeared to be highly agitated and threatening such that the officers should reasonably have known that he might attack Plaintiff. The attack took place only moments after Plaintiff was compelled by Defendants to enter the cell with Suarez, who struck Plaintiff in the back of the head, causing Plaintiff to fall against the cell door and suffer injuries.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=g6yca2D_PLUS_l864RTD77d9VUg==","type":"complaint"}]}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/7GPD-giancarlo-maratea.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"28087","other":"17913","total":"154511"},"id":"7GPD","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/7GPD"}
