At the precinct, Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search, and the officers submitted a field report that falsely stated Plaintiff sold heroin to an undercover officer. In the criminal complaint, the undercover officers stated that they handed Plaintiff a recorded $20 bill. After bail was set, Plaintiff was unable to make bail, so he was held for nine months before they released him and dropped the charges. In dropping the charges, the District Attorney's office noted that, contrary to the complaint, their investigation showed that the undercover cop did not see money exchanged in this way, and Plaintiff only had eight $1 bills on him when he was arrested, with no indication of any drugs or more money in his vicinity.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.429413.2.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/4353853/diaz-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"id":"7NBD","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/7NBD"}
