Hope was handcuffed and taken to a different room where he was slammed against the banister, breaking the banister, and knocking Hope unconscious. Hope was subsequently strip searched and was dragged outside while being stripped. At no time did the officers capable of intervening intervene to stop each others' misconduct. Although the officers prosecuted Hope maliciously and presented false information to the King's County District Attorney's Office, all charges against Hope was ultimately dismissed.
