Defendant Officer Steven Deluca organized the search and orchestrated a plan to show the shooting took place outside the home as justification for the prosecution.  This included deliberately losing exculpatory evidence and hiding facts for many years, as a result of which Plaintiff McLennon spent four years in jail awaiting trial and Plaintiff Campbell spent one year in jail.  Detective Bendig, Officcr Vorraro, Detective Alalnonte and Detective Deluca also lied to several grand juries and at trial regarding where the crime took place, what was discovered during searches, and when the illegal searches were performed.  Plaintiff McLennon was acquitted in trial on December 15, 2012.
