Gordillo grabbed, struck and restrained Plaintiff. The officers forcibly affixed metal handcuffs to Plaintiff's wrists in an excessively tight fashion. The officers had no probable cause to arrest Plaintiff, but did so merely on the basis of his race. As a result of the incident, Plaintiff suffered lacerations, contusions, hematomas and loss of range of movement to his arms, wrists and hands. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where he was unlawfully strip searched with an attendant cavity inspection, despite no indication he had secreted or hidden contraband. The officers then forwarded evidence that was fabricated, misleading or incomplete to the prosecutors, so that criminal prosecution would be initiated against Plaintiff. The criminal proceedings initiated against Plaintiff were eventually terminated.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=OzGnMUciveZ9hIslOzcDZw==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"823M","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/823M"}
