Without probable cause or reasonable suspicion, nearby defendant POs with Shield No. 4786 and John and Jane Doe 1-10 detained both the Plaintiff and the stranger and illegally searched them. Despite a lack of probable cause, Plaintiff was detained and falsely accused of involvement in a altercation that happened one month prior despite video footage showing that Plaintiff had left the scene before of the altercation. Defendant POs knowingly filled false statements to the  District Attorney's Office, alleging that Plaintiff had committed a crime and causing him to be charged with a felony. As a result, Plaintiff was falsely held in custody at Central Booking and Riker's Island for five days.
