The police officers asserted that Dwight Grimes was intoxicated and the plaintiff was subject to sobriety and breathalyzer tests. The plaintiffs were then assaulted and battered. Dwight Grimes was grabbed and had their arms twisted and were forced into handcuffs and transported first to the 25th Precinct, Angelyn Cruz was seized, jerked out of the car by herarm. shoved against the hood of the police vehicle, illegally touched on her vagina, breast, and buttock by a male police officer and was forcefully placed in tight handcuffs. The Plaintiffs were taken to the 9th Precinct, where the plaintiffs were processed, fingerprinted and photographed. The plaintiffs were then taken to New York County Central Booking and released on June 5, 2021.
