As plaintiff returned from the store, she saw Manfredo standing on the corner of 77th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, talking to an unidentified male. As plaintiff passed by, the unidentified male asked plaintiff for directions, and plaintiff stopped to answer his question. As plaintiff was giving directions, Manfredo stated “KEEP MOVING, FAGGOT. GET AWAY FROM HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT PROBLEMS.” Plaintiff did not pay attention to Manfredo, and continued to provide directions. Manfredo continued to interrupt and insult plaintiff. Plaintiff responded “who are you to talk to me like that, are you police or something?”  Manfredo repeated, “KEEP WALKING, FAGGOT. YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE PROBLEMS FOR TALKING TO ME LIKE THAT.” Plaintiff continued back to her house. As plaintiff reached her door, Manfredo screamed, “ARREST HER!” Several defendants grabbed plaintiff, and threw her against the side of the building, and was then placed in a van. After sitting in the van for several hours, plaintiff was transported to the 115th Precinct. At the 115th Precinct, several of the individual defendants made derogatory comments and slurs against plaintiff. Plaintiff was placed in a holding cell with eight men. One of the men in the cell harassed and groped plaintiff. On February 26, 2012, plaintiff was transported to Central Booking, and was again put in a cell with men. Plaintiff was held at Central Booking for approximately 56 hours before being arraigned and released on her own recognizance. At the time of her arraignment, plaintiff had been held in custody for a total of approximately 63 hours. Between February 25, 2012 and July 25, 2012, plaintiff was required to make five criminal court appearances. On July 25, 2012, the Criminal Court dismissed the charge against plaintiff.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.344812/gov.uscourts.nyed.344812.15.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/6120673/farias-v-city-of-new-york/"},{"officer_name":"Preston, David I.","disposition":"Settlement","start_date":"2010-04-14","disposition_date":"2013-01-18","court":"Supreme Court - Queens","docket":"009194/2010","name":"Harvey, Calene vs City of New York, et al.","payout_amount":20000}],"id":"8G8F","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/8G8F"}
