They told Plaintiff that he was arrested for failure to give ID, a fabricated charge. The POs proceeded to illegally search his car. Handcuffed inside the police van, Plaintiff again inquired as to why he was arrested, to which the POs threatened to fight him outside if he didn't shut up. The excessively tight handcuffs aggravated Plaintiff's preexisting injury, but in response to his complaints, PO Deleon only tightened the handcuffs. The POs took plaintiff to Precinct and then Central Booking, where he spent nearly 16 hours in custody.
