While at the precinct, defendants falsely informed employees of the Kings County District Attorney's Office that plaintiff had committed grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.\n\nAt approximately midnight on March 28, 2018, plaintiff was taken to Central Booking but sent back to the precinct by a screener because she was suffering diabetic complications.  On the way back, non-party officers placed plaintiff in handcuffs but failed to seatbelt her. The vehicle was then involved in a collision from which plaintiff was seriously injured. Defendants failed to call an ambulance or obtain any medical treatment for Ms. Padilla following the motor vehicle accident. Defendants took affirmative steps to conceal the accident, omitting it from the arrest report and noting plaintiff's \"physical conditions\" as \"apparently normal.\"\n\nSometime later on March 28, 2018, Plaintiff was taken back to Central Booking.
