The Defendant officers then grabbed Plaintiff, spun him around, and threw him to the ground. Plaintiff landed in the fetal position on his side and was repeatedly punched by the officers in the face and the body. Eventually, Plaintiff was taken to the police car in handcuffs. Defendant police officers failed to intervene in the obviously illegal actions of their fellow officers against Plaintiff.\n\nAt the 103rd precinct, Plaintiff repeatedly asked for medical attention and, after some time, was permitted to wash some of the blood from his face. EMS responded, and he was given an ice pack for the swelling but was told he could not get medical attention because his arrest processing would be significantly delayed. Plaintiff was taken to central booking and released by the Judge approximately 18 hours after his initial arrest. The complaint against him falsely accused him of Obstructing Governmental Administration, a class A misdemeanor.
