At the precinct, Defendants, Police Officer Cleavens Duchatelier, Sargeant Angel Delgado and John and Jane Doe 1-10, falsely told employees of the New York County District Attorney's Office ( DA's Office) that they observed Plaintiff committing various crimes/ offenses, even though Defendants knew that these allegations were false. Defendants sent the false allegations to the DAs Office in order to justify the unlawful arrest of Plaintiff and to persuade the DA's Office to commence the criminal prosecution of Plaintiff. Plaintiff was prosecuted for the course of 1 year and 3 months on or about August 21, 2016. Plaintiff had to attend many court appearances and underwent a trial and was not found guilty. All criminal charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.
