Plaintiff was immediately placed under arrest with his arms tightly behind his back. At no point did the police officers possess information that would lead a reasonable officer to believe probable cause existed to arrest Plaintiff. Plaintiff was brought to the precinct where he was subjected to a strip search. At no time did Plaintiff possess a weapon or behave unlawfully in any way, but Plaintiff was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third and Fourth Degree. As a result of his unlawful arrest, Plaintiff spent approximately 3 months in police custody. All charges against him were dismissed in their entirety on April 24, 2013. On December 20, 2012, Plaintiff found himself in a similar situation with NYPD police officers.
