While talking to his wife, NYPD Officer Haresh Seepersad and Officers John or Jane Does 1-10 instructed Plaintiff to exit the building. The Officers demanded Plaintiff's identification, which revealed no open warrants. They then grabbed Plaintiff and tackled him to the ground, affixing excessively tight handcuffs. Because of the force, Plaintiff was hurt in his lower back and head, and after being held for several and asking for medical attention was treated at the hospital. He was then transferred to the precinct, where Defendant Officers made false statements to the King's County DA's Office. On February 17 Plaintiff was arraigned and released.
